The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has appointed Professor Fidelis Olisamedua Njokanma as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, LASU, pending the appointment of a substantive VC.The appointment followed the tenure expiration of the former Vice Chancellor, Prof John Obafunwa’s on October 31st, 2015.
Until his appointment, Njokanma, a former Head of Department of Pediatrics, former Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of the institution.
